We need your help at the Abilene Beer Summit!

General Volunteer

It takes so many awesome people to make Abilene Beer Summit run smoothly! We need help with a variety of tasks and would love to have your support! (plus you can drink beer 🍺 as our thank you to you!)

Here’s what we need help with:

  • Volunteer from 12PM – 6PM on Sept 24th
  • Help with front gate entry (put on wristbands, pass out tokens, check IDs, etc.)
  • Provide water to volunteers
  • Pick up trash throughout the event and empty bins
  • Refill rinse station water jugs
  • Help in VIP area
  • Carry beer and ice to brewery stations
  • Support event staff with miscellaneous tasks

REQUIREMENTS

» Must be at least 21 years old to volunteer

» Work the shift from 12:00 PM to 6:15 PM.

» Arrive no later than 12:00 PM the day of the event to get your assignment. Expect to be there until 6:15 – (would appreciate help with clean up after!)

Beer Server Volunteer

It takes so many awesome people to make Abilene Beer Summit run smoothly! We need your help to pour beer from a brewery booth for attendees! (plus you can drink beer 🍺 as our thank you to you!)

Here’s what we need help with:

  • Volunteer from 12PM – 6PM on Sept 24th
  • Pour beer at an assigned brewery booth
  • Attend the mandatory Beer Server Volunteer Party the week of Beer Summit. Party is on the Tuesday or Wednesday before the Summit for approximately 1 hour in the evening. Details will be provided after signing up.

REQUIREMENTS

» Must be at least 21 years old.

» Attend the mandatory Volunteer Party the week of Beer Summit. Party is on the Tuesday or Wednesday before the Summit for approximately 1 hour in the evening. Details will be provided after signing up.

» Work the shift from 12:00 PM to 6:15 PM. There are no partial shifts.

» Arrive no later than 12:00 PM the day of the event to get to your beer station and get ready to go – expect to be there until 6:15 – (would appreciate help with clean up after)

» Attendees must be wearing a wristand to be served beer. This proves they are 21 and paid for a ticket.

» Serve only 2oz of beer in the provided plastic cup. There is a fill line on the cup.

» Don’t leave your beer station unattended. You are the person everyone goes to when they want beer!

» Yes, you can drink but please do so responsibly and with full ability to still complete your job! If you cannot handle it, you will be asked to leave and not invited back.
